Today, at the current point of implantology, many patients are being treated with techniques used for partial or complete tooth deficiencies. However, due to local factors such as insufficient jaw bone or systemic factors such as osteoporosis, diabetes, and hypertension, patients are either not treated or, even if treated, some of these treatments fail due to complications that develop later. In cortico-basal implantology, which was developed as an alternative and inspired by orthopedics and is performed using the osseofixation method, both local and systemic obstacles can be overcome and almost all patients who are helpless with traditional implantology can be treated. Cortico-basal implantology is not a newly applied method, but its latest form used today was developed by Prof. Dr. Stefan Ihde, who is considered the “Founder of Modern Cortico-Basal Implantology”.
Prof. Dr. Stefan Ihde and his team have treated thousands of patients worldwide using only this technique since 1998 and are still doing so. This team organizes continuous training, congresses, symposiums and courses so that Cortico-Basal Implantology can spread worldwide and more dentists can learn this technique. The most important of these courses is the All-in-one-week program, which is organized 12 times a year in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, and is a full-on program where everything necessary for education, such as theory, practice and live surgery, is explained or demonstrated in one week. In the program, Prof. Dr. Stefan Ihde, a team of experts and world-renowned experts in the field, shares both the entire scientific literature and their own experiences with cases on Cortico-Basal Implantology with the participating physicians.
In this presentation, information about this program will be provided to the participants.
